The next day when we reached our factory to open the shutter and begin a new working day, we were shocked and terrified to see the condition there. The lock was broken and everything, inside, was helter-skelter. We were scared to take any further step because no managerial stuff was present there at the spot.

So, immediately the leader of our workers’ union called up the manager and asked him to arrive at the factory as fast as he can. In the meantime, we kept on waiting outside…

The manager came sweating because he understood that something has surely gone serious as we never call him to come the fastest he can, unless it’s an emergency. And that day it was a severe emergency. He came and was shocked like us after seeing the situation. 

“So, what we do now!!” James (one of the workers) asked.

“Wait!! Let me check the CCTV footage, first!!” the manager said.

We were relieved to understand that the real culprit will get caught. Some of us ran to the computer room with the manager and the rest were waiting outside. 

The footage showed that there were 5 members in the gang who came, broke the lock with some rod, and took away our very new lot of landing gears which we were about to start the work with, that day. And the worst part was we wouldn’t be able to move a single thing because our old lot was not in the condition to use. We were utterly worried.

“Marion (our Union Leader) – you, Peter (me), and James – go to the police immediately and lodge the complaint. Communicate them clearly whatever has happened and also tell them that we have all the proofs. And in the meantime, I’m calling Mr. John (our boss) to discuss the issue.” said the manager.

We ran to the police station and conveyed all the details that took place the last night. The police came with us to the factory to foresee the condition and also checked the CCTV footage. Well, in all these happenings, Mr. John was also there, really worried. 

The head of that police team came to talk to Mr. John while we were standing at a distance but could hear everything. 

“Look, Mr. John, I know you are upset with this situation in your factory, and we promise that we will do everything to track this gang and put them into jail. But tell me, will you able to wait till the end of the procedure to resume all the work, as you know that it will take a lot of time!! Also, I don’t think that this gang is still waiting with your landing gears that they will return your machines after getting caught.” the officer said to Mr. John who was staring at the floor helplessly.

“They had studied every move in your factory for quite long and then, yesterday stole the landing gears with a full-proof plan. So, they also knew that your factory is under continuous CCTV surveillance, still they dared to take this step because as far as my concern clicks, they have already sold your equipments in the market!!” continued the officer.

Listening to this Mr. John became more worried and looked above at the officer, saying, “So, what do you suggest me to do now!! You want me to take my complaint back!!”

“No, no, Sir!! Of course, not!! Why will I say so!! Our entire team will work upon your case and catch the criminals.
